Nadine Matar

SENIOR ADVISOR - SOCIAL MEDIA

As Senior Manager of Social Media & Influencer Engagement, Nadine Matar’s expertise is in helping others find their role in the democratic process through authentic, creative means. She also happens to be one of the most sought-after hair stylists in Washington, DC, where she was born and raised and has spent the last decade merging her passions of personal expression, art, and community-building into a fulfilling and flourishing career. What began as a casual conversation at the salon about plans to volunteer at her local polling place led to Nadine becoming the voice behind Power the Polls, an overwhelmingly successful initiative that recruited 700K+ poll workers in 2020 to fill shortages caused by COVID-19. As part of her work leading Power’s social media strategy, she engaged several A-list celebrities and talent including Billie Eilish, Dan Levy Tracee Ellis Ross, and Lady Gaga. Nadine was one of the spokespeople for the program, hosting Instagram takeovers for brands like Eileen Fisher and facilitating IG Live convos with Levi’s and Mandy Patinkin.

Nadine lends her profound empathy and unparalleled ability to connect to people to many projects at Impactual, always finding unique ways to unite impactful influencers with critical causes. She always goes above and beyond for Impactual’s team and clients, even serving as an on-the-record spokesperson for Pizza to the Polls and National Voter Registration Day in 2020.

In the little spare time she has, Nadine can be found doing thoughtful things for the ones she loves, sharing a good ‘gram, or with a good book or a paintbrush in hand. She lives in Virginia with her husband and beloved rescue dog, Vie.
