Garreth Hui

MANAGER

Garreth Hui is an organized, relationship-driven program manager with a background in government relations and coalition management. He joins the Impactual team after two years in Washington working at the intersection of policy and people; coordinating criminal justice advocacy at Brimley Group, and interning on behalf of Representative Grace Meng's office.. Earlier in his career, Garreth managed philanthropic partnerships and grant administration for the MLB Players Association's Players Trust, connecting athlete philanthropy to causes across North America. At his core, Garreth believes that the gap between good policy and real community outcomes is almost always a communications and organizing problem, and that the most meaningful work happens when strategy and values point in the same direction. Garreth holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University's McCourt School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Originally from New York City, he now calls Washington, DC home, where he enjoys exploring the city, spending time with friends and keeping tabs on his New York sports teams.
